New Premises and New Recruits for Newcastle Law Firm
Peter Millican Law is on track to double in size within 18 months as need grows for its specialist corporate law services.
The first step in the firm’s growth plan was relocation to central Newcastle offices. The new premises, on Waterloo Square, have been chosen with expansion in mind, and the management team are already recruiting. They are currently in the process of employing two paralegal trainees, one for a role in the Commercial Property Team, and one to work with the Corporate Law Team. Further vacancies are expected to be announced before the end of the year.
Peter Millican, owner of Peter Millican Law, commented: “The demand for our services continues to grow, and we’re thrilled to be in the position to create more jobs here in the heart of Newcastle.
“We focus on serving corporate clients, and are staffed with lawyers whose expertise is in this specialist area. In the last 12 months alone, we have worked on deals with a total value in excess of £30 million, and are completing several commercial property deals each week.”
Peter Millican Law’s clients range from start-ups and small businesses to multi-nationals, as well as public sector organisations and local authorities.
