Revamped Shepherd House in Leeds sold to Priestley Homes
Shepherd House in Elland Road, Leeds, has been acquired by Priestley Homes.
Shepherd House, a self-contained office building, was sold for an undisclosed sum by the Shepherd Building Group.
The three-storey building had recently been refurbished and comprises 45 on-site car parking spaces.
The property is situated fronting Elland Road, within two miles of Leeds city centre and can be accessed from J2 of the M621, connecting to both M62 and M1 motorways.
The Leeds office of property consultancy Knight Frank has played a pivotal role in the sale of Shepherd House.
Sam Jamieson of Knight Frank in Leeds, who advised the Shepherd Group, commented: “This sale demonstrates that the freehold commercial property market in Leeds is thriving and is also an endorsement of the investment that the landlords made in refurbishing the property.
“Shepherd House is a classic example of well-located and well-appointed offices proving popular in the market place. We were delighted with the price we achieved.”
Priestley Homes, which is based in Leeds, is a developer specialising in the conversion of historic buildings.
