Castlehouse completes £220k repairs on Leeds site
Leeds-based Castlehouse Construction has completed an extensive £220k refurbishment at Coverdale House on East Parade, Leeds.
The four-month project, which commenced in April 2017, included a strip-out of the basement floors to form contemporary, open-plan workspace.
The floor area has been redecorated, with new lighting and secondary glazing installed and the team has created a shower room, as well as wheelchair access at the entrance.
Richard Lumley, director of Castlehouse Construction, said: “The refurbishment at Coverdale House, which is situated in the heart of the traditional office core of Leeds City Centre, has seen a transformation of key areas of the building into prime office accommodation.
“The overhaul gives existing tenants an improved working environment and offers great appeal to potential occupiers.”
The four-storey Grade II listed office building is home to a range of businesses and services, including the Leeds Civil Hearing Centre and Family Court.
