Touchdown! Local housebuilder meets ladies rugby club appeal for sponsorship

Continuing its support of the communities in which it builds, leading housebuilder, Barratt Homes Yorkshire West, has sponsored Rotherham Ladies Rugby Club, which is close to Barratt Homes’ Evolution development in Waverley.

Members will benefit from the sponsorship of Rotherham Ladies Rugby Club through subsidised membership fees, and funds will also help cover many costs such as the maintenance of the pitch, cost of lights and food after matches. All revenue raised by the club goes towards the lease of the clubhouse, so sponsorship such as this is vital to the running of the team.

Jo Clark, Ladies Manager at Rotherham Ladies Rugby Club, commented: “We are all extremely grateful to Barratt Homes’ Evolution site and their generosity in helping us with vital maintenance costs at the club. We rely so heavily on the help of local community and it is great that companies such as Barratt Homes support us.”
