New partnership helps PK Education improve complete supply teacher experience

Putting performance ahead of profit, PK Education and Supply Clouds have teamed up to help revolutionise the way that schools access supply teachers.

The supply teacher agency has been announced as a partner of the ground-breaking Supply Clouds platform which aims to streamline the booking process and help schools control staffing costs as well as improve the teaching experience. Developed following research with more than 50 schools, supply teachers and agencies, Supply Clouds is now being used in a number of areas across the UK to great acclaim.

Established by an experienced and longstanding supply teacher, Jon Scott, Supply Clouds simplifies, standardises and allows a single point of contact for supply teachers, schools and academies, and agencies.

Describing the ethos behind the revolutionary platform, Jon Scott, Director of Supply Clouds, said: “It’s all about getting the best teachers in each role. This industry cannot be solely profit driven. We aim to put the children, the next generation, first, and raise the standards in the education recruitment industry. Progression is always key and we will not sit still with this technology now, Supply Clouds allows for reporting and analysing so that accumulative patterns can emerge over time. From this we will improve the technology further to consistently deliver better results.”

Rather than on a per job basis, selected agencies on the platform agree up front cost parameters for all staff supplied to the subscribed schools, allowing for complete cost transparency and access to the best staff at a fair price. They can also select the available staff they want ensuring that they get the best person for the role.

Supply Clouds aims to partner with premium agencies, like PK, that are committed to raising the standards in supply teaching and improving the industry as a whole.

Commenting on the partnership, Romilly Wakeling Operations Director of PK Education said: “We are delighted to partner with Supply Clouds. The very ethos of the technology underpins our own, which is fair pricing for schools and competitive pay rates for candidates whilst not compromising the quality service we offer.

“Supply Clouds gives us a platform to demonstrate our capabilities as an agency and show how we can partner with schools to improve recruitment solutions whilst adding value beyond supply.”

PK Education currently has offices in Sheffield, Newcastle, Leeds, Wakefield, Nottingham, Leicester, Birmingham and Manchester and hopes to assist Supply Clouds in rolling out the platform across its network so that more schools can access the benefits.
