NOW HEALTHCARE GROUP DELIVERS CHRISTMAS CHEER TO CARE HOMES IN THE NORTHWEST
The team at the Now Healthcare Group delivered 200 gifts to care homes in the north-west of England earlier this week, as part of its drive to help enhance the lives of those living in care.
The digital healthcare company, who works with many care homes across the UK delivering repeat medications and providing FREE GP consultations under its NHS approved brand Now Patient, went to care homes across Manchester and Liverpool and spent time chatting to the residents and staff and handing out a small gift to each of the residents - many whom were suffering with dementia.
CEO and Founder, Lee Dentith said: *“Christmas is such a wonderful time, but for so many people it can be a lonely and difficult period, especially for those living in care homes. We work with the NHS to help improve the healthcare offered to millions of people across our country via mobile technology and getting to know the people we are helping is vitally important to us. Our team loved spending time in the care homes and we will be looking to deliver many more community initiatives in 2018”. *
The company recently became the first provider its field to be found by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the government’s regulatory body for healthcare services, to be providing services that are safe, responsive, effective, well-led and caring. All doctors working for the platform are MRCGP-certified and hold current contracts with the NHS.
Award-winning NHG has products Now Patient and Now GP and has nearly 20million customers across the globe.
