New multilevel indoor go-karting track to create 40 new jobs in Bradford
TeamSport Karting, the indoor go-karting company, has been granted permission to build a new indoor karting track close to Bradford city centre.
The company operates indoor karting venues across the country and TeamSport Bradford will be its 26th centre in the UK.
Two units within the Beckside Business Park will be turned into a new indoor go karting venue, creating up to 40 new full and part-time jobs.
TeamSport intends to invest over £1m in the development of the centre, which will feature 580m multilevel circuit for up to 18 karters to race around at any one time.
Dominic Gaynor, managing director of TeamSport Karting, said: “We’re delighted to have received the go ahead from planners for our new track.
“We hope Bradford’s residents and visitors are excited to have a new leisure activity to experience.
“Our range of race events and our excellent value karting offers will ensure karting is accessible to everyone looking for an adrenaline fuelled, fun day out.”
TeamSport Karting Bradford will also provide professional race wear, full safety briefings and tuition, in addition to a licensed Fuel Bar for drinks and food and modern meeting facilities for corporate clients.
