Liverpool law firm snaps up debt recovery business

Liverpool law firm MSB Solicitors has acquired Matrix Legal & Insolvency Services.

The deal will see Matrix, also based in Liverpool, become part of the company’s commercial department, led by partner Mark Forman.

MSB has expanded its services to include debt recovery following the acquisition, bolstered by Matrix’s 30-year background in debt collection, debt prevention and credit management.

Discussing the transaction, Mark said it would enable MSB to offer an improved all-round service for corporate clients.

He added: “This brings into focus how MSB continues to be at the forefront of commercial law. And we see this new service as something we could offer on a consultancy basis to other law firms.”

MSB last year saw turnover pass £5m for the first time.
