On-demand staffing company moves to Manchester’s 15,000 sq ft Headspace building
Staffing company Catapult has set up a new base in Manchester.
The London-headquartered business signed up for a five-desk office within Headspace Group’s Manchester building, a 15,000 sq ft work and events hub next to Albert Square.
Catapult operates a digital on-demand staffing platform to provide businesses in the retail and hospitality sectors with temporary staff.
The company has operated in Manchester since August last year and was previously based at co-working space Ziferblat.
Launched in London in 2015, Catapult now employs 70 people and boasts regional offices in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham.
Catapult co-founder Steffen Wulff Petersen said: “Manchester’s a hugely important city for us and we wanted our MCR team to be based in a vibrant community, alongside like minded businesses and with the opportunity to expand easily. It’s a beautiful space and I’ve heard very positive things from the team.”
Co-working space provider Headspace Group was acquired last November by flexible offices firm BE.
Headspace’s head of marketing and client experience, Jonathan Hausmann, commented: “In many ways Catapult is a stereotypical Headspace tenant – ambitious, creative and very fast growing – and we’re delighted to have them as part of the community!”
