Sale law firm to become £23m practice through Shropshire acquisition
Manchester’s Metamorph Law has acquired Shropshire practice Terry Jones Solicitors.
The deal will expand the Sale-headquartered firm’s foothold in Shrewsbury, where it trades under the Linder Myers brand.
Metamorph said Terry Jones Solicitors will bring additional expertise in commercial, agricultural, matrimonial, family and childcare matters to its offering in the area.
The acquisition is forecast to boost Metamorph’s revenues by around £5m, taking its projected income for 2018 to more than £23m.
Simon Goldhill, founder and director of strategy at Metamorph Law, said: “The acquisition of Terry Jones Solicitors adds further depth and quality to our operations and brings some of the leading legal teams in the area into our business.
“It adds a fantastic and respected local brand to our stable and fits perfectly with our strategy to grow as a single business with multiple brands.”
He added: “This deal is just the start of our plans for 2018 and we have others in the pipeline. I expect to make further announcements over the next months.”
