Trondent Introduces Profile Synchronization with Evolvi Rail Systems
Trondent Development Corp., a leading provider of web-based data management and software services for the global travel industry, announces today the successful integration of its ProFILER Express platform with online UK rail booking and fulfilment specialists Evolvi Rail Systems.
ProFILER Express is a web-based profile management tool enabling business travelers, corporations, and travel management companies (TMC) to easily manage traveler profile details on one convenient website. Any subsequent changes to the data is synchronized in real-time to a variety of downstream targets including Global Distribution Systems and online booking platforms such as Evolvi.
Over the past several weeks the technical teams from Trondent and Evolvi have worked closely together to ensure a successful integration between their respective platforms on behalf of leading TMC Travel and Transport Statesman.
The ability to synchronize profiles to the Evolvi platform creates significant benefits for a TMC and its client base. First, travelers will no longer bear the burden of maintaining and ensuring consistency of their profile in multiple locations. Second, because travelers will not be required to build a separate profile in Evolvi, access to UK rail content is made easier and therefore better managed. Third, because corporate hierarchy data (such as department, division, cost center and employee number) stays up to date in all systems, corporate reporting and expense management become more accurate and streamlined.
Mervyn Williamson, Managing Director of Travel and Transport Statesman commented: “Our clients like to move fast with absolute certainty and efficiency. This synchronization for all our traveler profiles with Evolvi helps them to do that. We’re delighted to be the first TMC to launch this and it’s a testament to the superb relationship we have with Evolvi that continues to go from strength to strength with this update.”
Ken Cameron, Managing Director at Evolvi Rail Systems, commented: “We continuously look at new ways of adding value to our TMC customer base, and profile integration is an area of growing interest to TMCs. Travel and Transport Statesman clearly recognizes the benefits of synchronizing user information across every area of its offer to corporate clients, so we were very pleased to work closely with Trondent to extend this capability to UK rail.”
Says David Wood, Trondent’s President & CEO: “Trondent is a market leader in profile synchronization and the first in the industry to develop this technology in 1994. Our integration with Evolvi Rail Systems furthers our vision of providing the industry a single location for maintaining traveler profiles. The Evolvi team has been a pleasure to work with and we are happy to add them to our growing list of synchronization targets,”
