Picture perfect for Mother's Day
Bradford families are being encouraged to look through photo albums and share photos of their beloved mums ahead of this Mother’s Day.
Kirkgate Shopping is hosting a competition on its social media platforms asking children, of all ages, to share their favourite photo of their mum using #KirkgateMoments, to be in with a chance of winning a £100 shopping voucher and a framed portrait courtesy of photography store, Max Spielmann.
Catherine Riley, centre manager at Kirkgate Shopping, said: “This time of year is great to give back and show our mums just how much they’re cherished, so we want to see your favourite picture of your mum, whether she’s rocking a perm in the eighties with you as a baby or you snapped a glowing photo just last week.
“Share them on our Facebook and Twitter profiles using #KirkgateMoments and the winner will receive the Georgia portrait prize from Max Spielmann and a £100 shopping voucher…you can either buy something to treat your mum or let her shop for herself!”
As part of the prize, the winner will receive the Georgia portrait package from Max Spielmann, which includes photography and a 10“ x 8“ silver plated frame.
“Many of our customers come shopping with their mums or have been coming to Kirkgate since they were young children and are now mothers themselves - we’d love to see the centre through the eras in your photos!” added Catherine.
The competition will run from 5 March - 11 March 2018 and the winner will be announced on 12 March. Entries can be made via Kirkgate Shopping’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
