easyGroup expands with online conveyance comparison tool
The company behind budget airline easyJet has expanded with the launch of a conveyance comparison business.
London-headquartered easyGroup’s new digital platform, easyConveyance.com, is designed for home buyers and sellers who need property solicitors or conveyancers to act on their behalf.
Northern Ireland-born entrepreneur Connor McCann is the CEO of easyConveyance.com. He founded the business after winning an award to trade under the ‘easy’ name.
The website allows home buyers and sellers to compare quotes from over 200 UK-based conveyancing and property law firms.
Quotes are based on price, location and customer rating. Once a preferred conveyancer in chosen, users can instruct them via the website and track the progress of their sale or purchase.
Connor said: “The home buying process in the UK is outdated and problematic, with over 25% of house sales collapsing each year.
“This can be stressful and costly for both buyers and sellers with Which? magazine rating buying and moving house as being more stressful than having children, changing jobs or getting married!”
Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, founder of easyGroup founder, commented: “It’s time for the home buying process to be brought into the 21st century. easyConveyance will provide the latest technology and innovation required to deliver a more transparent and accelerated solution to the current slow and clumsy system in the UK.”
