Aesthetic dermatology company signs 10-year deal at Chester Business Park
International aesthetic dermatology company Sinclair Pharma plc has signed up for new space at Chester Business Park.
Legat Owen, the Chester-based commercial property consultants, secured the deal alongside joint agent Avison Young.
Sinclair Pharma will relocate from its current home, also on the business park, to the 6,500 sq ft Eden House building on a 10-year lease.
The two-storey self-contained property was previously occupied by NatWest. It is situated at the head of a five-acre ornamental lake.
Eden House was recently refurbished by contractor Hutcheon Construction, which also carried out a bespoke fit-out for Sinclair Pharma.
Jayne Burrell, group general counsel and company secretary at Sinclair Pharma, said: “The opportunity at Eden House came at the perfect time for us as we needed to expand our premises but were keen to stay on Chester Business Park, which has been our home for a number of years now.
“By relocating we have more than doubled the size of our office space and the high standard of refurbishment is very much in line with our business’ needs.”
Legat Owen director Will Sadler commented: “Demand for Grade A space is very positive and there is a real shortage of high quality office space in Chester.
“Properties such as Eden House that have been refurbished to a high standard are seeing high levels of interest and letting well.”
He continued: “We are currently marketing the last remaining plot at Chester Business Park offering 110,000 sq ft on a design and build basis and, based on the demand we have seen, we are confident this is likely to attract a interest from both national and regional blue-chip organisations.”
The Sinclair Pharma deal coincided with another letting completed by Legat Owen at nearby Bellmeadow Business Park, Chester, with Bratherton Park Design. The company took 1,800 sq ft at Bellmeadow on a five-year lease.
