Developer Oakapple Group unveils plans to deliver 216 apartments in Leeds
Property developer Oakapple Group has received outline planning consent for a new residential scheme on Sweet Street in Leeds.
Known as Fabrik, the development comprises 216 apartments with a basement car park.
The Leeds-based developer expects to submit a reserved matters application in the near future and is targeting a start on site later this year.
The area, which forms part of the Holbeck Urban Village, is located in the south bank area of Leeds which is undergoing a regeneration initiative.
Philip Taylor, chairman of Oakapple Group, said: “We are delighted to receive planning consent for our scheme, which is an important step in delivering the regeneration of this part of Leeds.
“I believe this project represents a new era for Oakapple and is one of several projects in our pipeline which we hope to bring forward in both London and Yorkshire.”
