Myerson Solicitors raise £13,000 to support three local charities
Lawyers from Altrincham-based, Myerson Solicitors have swapped their briefcases for backpacks to climb Cheshire’s Three Peaks and raise over £13,000 for three local charities.
A team of a 40 Myerson staff were joined by friends and family to scale the famous three peaks of Cheshire – Tegg’s Nose, Shutlingsloe and Shining Tor – covering a total distance of 13.6 miles across difficult terrain.
The money raised will be donated to Francis House Children’s Hospice in Didsbury, along with the Counselling and Family Centre in Altrincham and the Weekend Day Centre for Dementia Care in Stockport – both of whom have been Myerson’s chosen charities since 2016.
Carl Newton, Managing Partner, said:
“We are delighted to have raised a substantial amount of money for three brilliant local charities successfully scaling the renowned Cheshire Three Peaks.
“We’ve been working closely with both the Weekend Day Centre for Dementia Care in Stockport and Altrincham’s Counselling and Family Centre for a number of years, supporting them with various charity initiatives.
“It was great to see so many of our solicitors’ friends and family get involved and join us together to raise as much money as possible. Knowing we were able to help the great work of our chosen charities really spurred us on throughout the day.”
