'Easy to Work With' Law Firm Secures Little Green Deal
Peter Millican Law’s team of corporate lawyers has secured a deal leading to the opening of a vegan café, health-food shop and community hub in Sandyford, Newcastle.
Partner and specialist in corporate law, Jabad Jaigirdar, worked with Gareth and Sarah Zeal of Little Green to complete the legal requirements for the new venue on Goldspink Lane. Little Green, which combines a bistro-style vegan café and healthfood shop with therapy rooms, launched in late June. 15 new jobs have been created by the start-up, with more to be added as the couple are already seeking an additional chef. Gareth, a nutritional therapist, will practice from Little Green offering on-the-spot advice or more in-depth nutritional therapy consultations. Little Green will also host live music events, street food nights, and guest chefs.
Gareth commented: “The instant success of Little Green is exciting. We are both passionate about eco-projects, and thrilled that so many people have been keen to discover what’s going on here, and are finding Little Green a great place to hang out.
“We were very happy with the service provided by Peter Millican Law. The flat fee agreement gave us clarity around our legal costs. Jabad and his colleagues were easy to work with, but rigorous in their approach to the deal, ensuring that our business is protected.”
Jabad added: “The instant popularity of Little Green is testament to Gareth and Sarah’s innovative ideas, and the passion they bring to their business. They’re a commercially astute team, and have been a pleasure to advise.”
