Varonis Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary of First UK Location, Settles into New Office

Cybersecurity firm, Varonis Systems, has announced the 10-year anniversary of the opening of its first office in London in 2008. The news follows the company’s recent expansion in the UK and move to a new office in Finsbury Square, in the heart of London.

The 10-year milestone and London office move follows a year of success and growth for Varonis across Europe: In 2017, Varonis opened a new office in Germany, and its operations in France celebrated ten years in business and expansion into a new office.

Commenting on the milestone, Varonis UK VP and Country Manager Andy Richmond said, “Ten years ago, companies put their faith in firewalls and antivirus tools to protect themselves from cyber threats. Data was often an afterthought. Today, breaches are all too common, and the GDPR is bringing sweeping changes requiring organizations to prioritize and protect their data. We’re pleased to be marking ten years in London and looking forward to helping companies secure their critical information.”

Companies rely on Varonis to provide visibility into file and email systems and detect any harmful or abnormal behavior to help prevent data breaches, cyberattacks, and other security threats.
