Law firm Bevan Brittan to double Leeds operation
Law firm Bevan Brittan is expanding in Leeds after three “busy and successful years” in the city.
The company will double the size of its offices at Toronto Square to accommodate a plan to create around 32 jobs over the next three to five years.
Bevan Brittan, which moved into Leeds in September 2015, now has 10 partners in the city.
The team’s clients include solar panel company A Shade Greener, office site Hornbeam Park, housing provider Yorkshire Housing, Sheffield City Council and Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
The head of Bevan Brittan’s Leeds office, Michael Boyd, said: “We are delighted to be doubling our space in Leeds. After three busy and successful years, this underlines our long-term commitment to the Yorkshire business community.
“We are here to stay, we’re growing and we greatly look forward to continuing to support private businesses and public organisations around the region and beyond.”
He added: “There is a vibrant economy here and we’re very happy to be part of it.”
Managing partner Duncan Weir commented: “Our Leeds office is an important part of the firm and we are very pleased to be making the investment to enable it to grow in line with client demand for the future.
“Combined with our offices in Birmingham, Bristol and London, our Leeds operation gives us national reach and enables us to support the ambitious and active Northern economy.”
Agents GVA advised Bevan Brittan in the deal.
