Property consultancy secures corporate mandate managing Telefónica and Vodafone operations
Property consultancy, Cluttons has secured its mandate with Cornerstone Telecommunications Infrastucture Limited (CTIL) to manage all Telefónica and Vodafone’s 25,000 radio base station networks across the country.
Cluttons was first appointed by CTIL in 2014. Today’s (September 19) announcement marks a continuation of the relationship.
Formed in November 2012, CTIL is a mobile infrastructure company, owning and managing over 25,000 sites and providing related services for its principal customers; Telefonica and Vodafone, as well as others.
Belinda Fawcett, from CTIL, said: “Cluttons combines its unique knowledge of the telecoms sector with deep property knowledge to provide excellent support to our business. We are pleased to continue our relationship over the coming years.”
The firm’s end-to-end value proposition for passive infrastructure includes securing land rights through to design, build and ongoing maintenance of sites.
The national corporate services contract sees Cluttons providing a full management service including data, treasury, estate management and lease advisory.
John Gravett, partner and head of Cluttons’ infrastructure practice, added: “Cluttons manages 50 per cent of the mobile masts in the UK and CTIL is a key part of our business.
“We look forward to continuing our partnership and supporting CTIL as it develops its network.”
