Commercial building firm reveals major additions to services
North Yorkshire-based commercial building services engineering firm, Robinsons M&E has introduced three new service elements to its range of client services.
A social housing division, refurbishment works and specialist construction site setup support services are available to local authorities, social housing providers, private landlords and construction businesses.
Managing director, Edgar Chibaka, said: “Robinsons M&E’s commitment to client care and track record in hard facilities management combined with highly qualified staff and a varied portfolio have positioned it at the forefront of Yorkshire’s commercial building services solutions for over 50 years.
“Building on this solid reputation and introducing First Response Group’s nationwide footprint into the mix, along with a new range of service elements and expertise, presents a formidable offering for local authorities, social housing providers, housing associations, and private landlords and construction companies across the UK.”
Over the years, Robinsons M&E has fostered long-standing relationships with many local authorities, housing association and private clients across the UK.
Recent successes include a £1.8m factory installation for multi-national construction products firm Saint-Gobain; a £1.3m care home for The Fisher Care Group via Marshall, and a £1.7m project for the University of Leeds via Sewell Construction and Henry Boot Construction.
Robinsons M&E’s expert planned and responsive maintenance and refurbishment services are provided for social housing providers across the UK, allowing comfortable, safe and secure homes to be created, often for vulnerable tenants.
Services includes landlord compliance checks and tests, replacement and renewal installations and disability adaptations.
The refurbishment works offering covers everything from electrical rewires/upgrades and solar panelling to boiler installs and replacement programmes to plastering/rendering and external wall insulation.
Site setup engineers will also assist with the installation, 24 hours call-out maintenance support and removal of site services.
Other core services provided include mechanical, electrical and air conditioning.
