Recruiter opens door to new offices in Darlington and plans for growth
To accommodate for an expanding team, Hays has moved in to new, larger offices on Beaumont Street in Darlington town centre.
The office was officially opened by Darlington’s Mayor, Veronica Copeland alongside Catherine Duke, the Hays Darlington Office Manager & Business Director. Laura Kemp, Regional Director for the North East and Jackie Mordue, Managing Director for Hays in Yorkshire & the North were also present, alongside a number of local consultants.
Hays has been recruiting for professionals in Darlington and the surrounding areas for over 30 years, with an office in Darlington for the last 15 years. The team covers a variety of sectors, from office support to accountancy and finance.
Catherine Duke, Office Manager & Business Director at Hays in Darlington, said: “We’re really pleased to have moved into a fantastic new office space, in a great location for businesses and job seekers alike. Having outgrown our previous premises, the new office accommodates our growing team in a fantastic new environment as well as allowing for future growth.
It was vital for us to pick a location in Darlington town centre to not only support the recruiting needs of the area, but also to support the number of businesses who continue to operate from the town centre and keep the location alive.“
