Newcastle law firm supports Scaleup North East businesses with latest initiative
Law firm, Ward Hadaway is supporting local businesses as part of the Scaleup North East Accelerator initiative.
The law firm is working with businesses to provide legal support and advice on issues including: help with contract negotiations; registering trademarks; employment law advice; and HR.
Scaleup North East is designed for companies with the potential to grow by 2021. The programme aims to work with 650 businesses that can demonstrate the required desire and potential to achieve high levels of growth in this time.
RTC North is delivering Scaleup North East in partnership with North East Local Enterprise Partnership, and is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
Programme director, Jason Legget, said: “Scaleup North East Solution Providers are organisations that have experience of working with scaling businesses, and Ward Hadaway has highlighted with this initiative how much support there is for businesses.
“We are delighted to have enlisted the support of such a major regional law firm to help us with our agenda and support businesses in overcoming any barriers to continued growth, as well as nurturing the next generation.
“The scope of their expertise and what they can offer will make a real difference to the prospects of growth for the businesses which we are supporting.”
All scaling businesses referred via Scaleup North East will be eligible for Ward Hadaway’s bespoke Scale-Up North East Accelerator package for one year following referral.
