Second phase of popular Woodlands development now released
House Crowd Developments, has now released the second phase of its prestigious The Woodlands scheme in Bolton-upon-Dearne, following the complete sell-out of phase one, which launched in 2016.
Located off Carr Head Lane in the town, the secure, gated development is proving increasingly desirable for families looking for a high-spec home with strong rail and motorway commuter links.
Comprising a mix of 28, four-bed family homes, The Woodlands is set among clusters of mature trees overlooking the picturesque Dearne Valley. Prices start from £215,000, with Help to Buy (meaning you will need just a 5% deposit) and a part exchange scheme available.
Emma Lakin, head of sales at House Crowd Developments, said: “Demand for phase one of The Woodlands was extremely strong, with 50 per cent of the development already sold, and some buyers now living in their new home. We expect the second phase to create similar levels of interest, especially among growing families looking to take their next step up the property ladder.
“The roll out of the controversial compulsory purchase orders resulting from the HS2 project is further heightening demand for the development within the community. We’re therefore thrilled to be bringing much needed family homes to the area at such a crucial time.”
Full completion of phase two is expected in December 2018.
Situated near to local shops and amenities, as well as a cluster of good quality schools, properties at The Woodlands will be clad with local Yorkshire stone to complement the natural beauty of its semi-rural surroundings.
As well as two car parking spaces, the homes on The Woodlands will benefit from grassy play areas and communal remote controlled gates, providing the perfect safe backdrop for raising a family. Every home will be completed to a high specification including oak doors throughout, integrated, branded appliances and underfloor heating to the bathrooms.
