Skinnydip launches in-store Click & Collect method with HubBox

Accessories brand, Skinnydip has partnered with Click & Collect software provider, HubBox.

For the first time, Skinnydip is enabling customers to collect their online purchases from over 4,000 local Collect Points, as well as from Skinnydip’s standalone stores.

Skinnydip will be adopting the same in-store Click & Collect technology used by menswear retailer, TM Lewin.

Founded in 2011, Skinnydip’s tongue-in-cheek aesthetic has brought the brand international success. Its products are sold in over 200 concessions globally, as well as in 14 of its own UK stores.

Skinnydip’s co-founder, James Gold, said: “With the customer at the heart of everything we do here at Skinnydip, we wanted to offer a service that enables them to be able to collect their order with ease.

“Using a Click & Collect service that gives the customer several collection options is most definitely a step in the right direction for us.

“As a business, we want our customers to have the best experience both online and in-store, and we feel like working with HubBox really takes us that step closer.”

Considering how important in-store shopping is to millennials - according to I-AM, 74 per cent say they still prefer it to online shopping - offering in-store Click & Collect is a move hoping to create a bridge between what the customer sees online and the overall brand experience they have when visiting a store.

HubBox’s in-store Click & Collect service has been rolled out to Skinnydip’s 12 shops, complementing local collection available from over 4,000 HubBox Collect Points.
