Be Wiser renews long-standing association with Swindon Town FC
Swindon FC has kicked off the new season with a star signing – in the form of local business Be Wiser Insurance.
The company, which is one of the biggest independently-owned insurance brokers in the UK, has renewed its association with the club for the 2018/19 season.
It comes as Be Wiser’s office in Swindon, which opened in 2016, goes from strength to strength and continues to provide jobs and training for local people.
Last week Be Wiser’s Andrew Dunkerley and David Lake attended the club’s business networking event to celebrate another year of the two Swindon organisations working together. While there they had a chance to take a look at the Be Wiser boards, which sit proudly pitch side & outside the ground.
Director of Marketing Andrew Dunkerley said of the relationship: “We are proud to continue our association with Swindon Town FC and we look forward to building on the already solid foundations.
“We like to be part of the communities where we employ people and our support of Swindon Town Football Club confirms this.” he said.
“Swindon is proving a successful location for us and being involved with such a vibrant team means that as many people as possible in the area know we are here.”
Be Wiser opened a new office in Swindon two years ago. The 10,000 sq ft office employs 87 members of staff currently, contributing to the local economy and creating job opportunities.
The company is no stranger to sports. In addition to its association with Swindon Town FC it sponsors the British Superbike Championship winning team Be Wiser Ducati, the All-Weather Championship for horseracing and the Hawkstone International MX Motto Cross event.
