New partnership to make a difference on the Leasowe Estate
As part of Prima Group’s commitment to invest £1 million a year over the next five years, Prima Group has agreed an initial contract with M&Y Maintenance and Construction to deliver a range of improvement works across Leasowe Estate.
The partnership will see M&Y Maintenance and Construction carrying out improvement works to 140 kitchens and 80 bathrooms along with heating installations and electrical rewires.
M&Y Maintenance and Construction will also deliver the grounds maintenance services to residents on behalf of Prima. This includes the upkeep of communal green areas and assisting with property maintenance.
As part of the contract, which will run until March 2019, M&Y Maintenance and Construction will also take over works to empty properties on behalf of Prima Group, in an effort to get residents moved into their new home in as short a time as possible.
Gill Kelly, Managing Director of M&Y Maintenance and Construction, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Prima Group to support its delivery of investment across Leasowe.
“We are continuing to grow a strong reputation for our maintenance offering and I know the team are looking forward to starting the work.”
Anita Leech, Chair of Prima Wirral, said: “It’s great to be able to start to deliver on the promises of improvements to homes for tenants in Leasowe. We’re completely confident that M&Y Maintenance and Construction will do a professional job on the installation of new kitchens, bathrooms and boilers to homes across Leasowe. We hope that our tenants will really welcome and benefit from the improvements to their homes.”
