Wakefield’s B38 Group snaps up Leeds firm Woods Building Maintenance
Outsourced contracting and facilities services provider B38 Group has acquired Leeds-based Woods Building Maintenance Limited.
B38 Group, headquartered in Wakefield, said the deal has extended its ability to self-deliver mechanical and electrical building services throughout the Yorkshire region.
Woods Building Maintenance was founded by Jordan Woods in 2011 and has since grown into a £1.5m-revenue business.
Jordan is joining the newly expanded business in the role of head of operations.
B38 Group co-founder Richard Phillips said: “Acquiring the Woods business furthers our already strong foothold in the Yorkshire region and gives us the ability to offer clients a higher degree of self-delivery and thus a higher level of service.”
Headquartered in Wakefield, B38 will next month relocate to the town’s Merchant Gate development.
The company has a turnover of just under £15m and provides commercial hard and soft facilities management services for private sector clients, including a growing number of blue-chip organisations.
