Boutique developer to move HQ to Barnet sorting office site
Luxury boutique developer Godfrey London has announced plans to move its headquarters to the site of a former Royal Mail sorting office in Temple Fortune, Barnet.
The company’s new base will be part of a 17,000 sq ft complex that will also provide office space for other businesses.
One of the development’s four storeys has already been leased in agreement with a property investment fund, while the parts of the first and second floors – covering 4,000 sq ft in total – will be made available to let.
Architecture firm TDO Architects has been chosen to work on the new development on St George’s Road, which is expected to have a “striking, contemporary design”.
Godfrey London founder and director Paul Godfrey believes the move will help his company grow.
He said: “The space enables us to continue the expansion across the Godfrey Group of companies and provides a new opportunity for us to showcase our design and attention to detail in a commercial setting.”
Godfrey went on to say he expects the development to bring together businesses within the property sector, and that the company will be seeking occupants for the site’s remaining space “shortly”.
