David Wilson boosts land department with key appointment
Five star housebuilder David Wilson Homes is gearing up for growth with the appointment of a new land and development director to spearhead expansion in the south west.
Bristol-based Peter White is responsible for land acquisition throughout the region with a focus on the M4 and M5 corridors.
Peter, who has more than 20 years’ experience in land said he was looking forward to working with the team and securing more land for the future.
“This is an important region for David Wilson Homes and we are actively looking for land for future investment,” said Peter whose experience includes spells leading his own consultancy and with BNP. “As a five star housebuilder we have an excellent reputation for providing high quality new homes and that mission will continue in the future.”
David Wilson Homes has a number of key new developments launching in 2019 including Ladden Garden Village in North Yate and Wichelstowe in Swindon. “The key now is to secure more desirable sites to create new communities in the region for many years to come,” said Peter.
David Wilson Homes managing director Ian Menham said Peter’s appointment strengthens the housebuilder’s management team. “Peter has tremendous and relevant experience in this area of the country and his knowledge will be invaluable as we move forward and plan for the future,” said Ian.
“We are now in an extremely strong position with our existing developments to meet the needs of buyers now and with Peter on board we will be looking to strengthen our long term plans.”
