Lifecycle increases member support in Bristol with appointment of Robert Banbury

Committed to supporting SME accountants to grow their practices and client base, Lifecycle has further enhanced its member relations team in Bristol with the appointment of Robert Banbury as manager.

Lifecycle is a collective of specialist, non-core professional services provided to over 2000 SME accountants in the UK through Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group (LCBSG) companies. The Group operates 17 offices nationwide with a 200-strong team.

Robert joins Lifecycle from a leading independent firm of estate agents, auctioneers, Chartered Surveyors and valuers based in Somerset, where he held a business development role. During a career spanning more than three decades, he has held a number of senior roles in business development and investment management, as well as working as a private client stockbroker for 15 years.

Based in the Group’s Queens Square office, he is tasked with developing the profile of Lifecycle amongst accountants in Bristol and across the south west of England.

He is already working with network members to determine how services provided by Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group (LCBSG) - provider of Lifecycle - can support their businesses. Also within his remit is outreach to those regional SME accountants who have not signed up to Lifecycle, which is free to join.

Andy Beckingham, Director of Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group in Bristol, said: “The popularity of Lifecycle continues to grow so we are delighted to welcome Robert to the team. We see him playing a key role in developing the offering and extending our membership base in Bristol and across the South West region.

“He brings with him enviable financial and commercial experience which, when combined with his proven track record in relationship and business development, is hugely beneficial to those accountants working in and around Bristol.

Robert Banbury said: “In terms of a new role, the Lifecycle offering – supported by Leonard Curtis services and reputation – was too compelling to turn down. A real attraction to joining Lifecycle and Leonard Curtis was working with SME accountants and their clients to grow their businesses. Most have never before had access to such specialist, often non-core services so the response we receive is hugely positive.”
