London plumbing business acquired by Fantastic Services in bid to reach £40m sales
My Plumber Ltd is the latest addition to the Fantastic Services portfolio in a landmark deal to secure £40m in sales in 2019.
Acquisition of the London-based company will allow Fantastic Services to provide plumbing and heating, in addition to its existing cleaning, gardening, landscaping, waste removal and pest control offering.
Formed in 2009, Fantastic Services already has over 300 franchising partners, providing more than 25 professional services throughout the country. Last year it processed customer orders worth £32.5m, and aims to exceed this with a £40m turnover target for 2019.
Fantastic Services co-founder Rune Sovndahl said: “We are intent on building a customer-focused position in the plumbing and heating services market that will seriously challenge the established players such as British Gas and Dyno.
“We’re delighted to add My Plumber to our growing portfolio – and to be able to offer our customers plumbing services for the very first time.”
All existing My Plumber staff will be retained as part of the deal, which sees Fantastic Services gaining an experienced team of Gas Safe accredited technicians, electricians and handymen, plus an administration and estimating team.
Angie Lyons-Redman, owner of My Plumber, added: “I am delighted to be in a position to sell My Plumber to Fantastic Services, a company that shares my passion for customer services.”
