New rental housing development begins construction in North London
UK residential landlord Grainger plc has announced the start of construction on a private rental development in Tottenham Hale, London.
The development at Hale Wharf in the London Borough of Haringey will create 108 new homes specifically for renters and up to 2,000 sq ft of amenity space.
Construction has now begun on the site, with completion expected by June 2021.
The Grainger plc project is part of a larger initiative in the area to create hundreds of new rental properties, with other nearby developments including Apex House and the Seven Sisters Regeneration scheme.
Helen Gordon, chief executive of Grainger, said: “Today is another step forward in Grainger’s ambitious plans to deliver thousands of new homes across the UK, specifically for renters.
“Across these three schemes we will be delivering 467 much needed new homes to this part of North London over the next two to three years.”
