Mexican chain hits £3.2m in crowdfunding for London expansion
London based Mexican restaurant chain Chilango has achieved over three times its targeted £1m crowdfunding goal.
The Burrito Bond 2 crowdfunding campaign began last October, when the company decided to accelerate its search for new premises as part of its ongoing expansion.

Operating 10 restaurants across the city, the quick-service chain is looking to acquire ground floor sites in key areas such as residential neighbourhoods, transport hubs, university campuses and hospitals.
The expansion has attracted interest from high-profile investors including former CEO at Domino’s Pizza UK Chris Moore, former managing director at itsu David Haimes and Laurie Morgan, former McDonald’s UK marketing vice-president Laurie Morgan.
