AI crowdsourcing customer service platform raises £5m in investment round
London-based firm Limitless Technology has raised £5m for the development of its of SaaS crowdsourced customer service platform SmartCrowd.
The Series A round was led by tech focused venture capital firm AlbionVC, with participation from existing investors Downing Ventures and Unilever Ventures.
The company’s self-developed SmartCrowd platform uses crowdsourcing and AI to transform engaged customers into freelance customer experts, rewarding those who provide on-demand customer service support.
Roger Beadle, CEO and co-founder of Limitless commented: “We are delighted to have secured this round of funding with our investors, which will help us take our promise of ‘an on-demand, flexible talent pool of Customer Experts’ to more businesses around the world.
Launched in 2018, Limitless Technology has already worked with global brands like Unilever, Microsoft, Daily Mail Group and Amazon, utilising the SmartCrowd platform to tap into a demand for real-time brand ambassadors.
