Multi-agent home vendor BestBid raises £500k in seed funding
Multi-agent home vendor BestBid has raised £500k in a seed investment round backed by a venture firm and angel investors.
The round was led by venture firm Hambro Perks, with participation from Indeed co-founder Paul Forster, Episode 1 Ventures founder Simon Murdoch, Adzuna CEO Doug Monro and LoveFilm co-founder William Reeve.
Founded in September 2018 by Tom Scarborough, BestBid specialises in working with multiple agents to generate more viewings, more tension and a higher closing rate on property sales.
Tom Scarborough, CEO of BestBid explained: “I found that by refreshing the sale process with more quality agents I generated more viewings, more tension and more buyers. BestBid is now allowing any home seller to do this - one trusted provider to go to achieve the best possible result from their home sale.”
The funds from the seed investment round will be used to accelerate growth for the London-based company.
