NGI confirms partnership with latest NewcastleGateshead video content platform
A NewcastleGateshead-backed free digital video content platform has launched in the region.
Powered by Tyneside video production and animation agency, Three Motion Media, #UnlikeNEwhere will deliver a dedicated series of videos in the 12 next months.
Designed to inspire local, national and international audiences, content will be hosted and shared via the #UnlikeNEwhere website. This aims to give organisations and individuals an opportunity to portray the region as an ‘ideal’ destination for investment.
#UnlikeNEwhere’s creative director, Neil Wood-Mitchell, explained: “We’re super proud to launch our new platform and we’ll be actively finding the places and the people that embody the spirit of the North East.
“This is a campaign designed to directly benefit those who live and work here, and to share positive messages outside of the region. We’ll be inviting the public to share their own ideas and stories and join us on the journey.”
NGI is the platform’s headline partner and, in the next few weeks, its videos will be shared across social media, its new website and will be available to the public and businesses alike.
The videos will aim to generate positive publicity for the North East.
NGI’s chief executive, Sarah Stewart, added: “It’s fantastic to see the level of pride that organisations have in the region.
“#UnlikeNEWhere’s desire to tell compelling stories of our places and people is a great example of this and it will serve as an additional resource for businesses across the North East to tap into as part of their sales and marketing activities.
“At NewcastleGateshead Initiative, we’re currently working with VisitEngland on The Explorer’s Road; a £1m Discover England Fund Project. It’s a great example of how we can put lesser-known businesses and hidden gems in the spotlight, and that’s exactly what we’re trying to achieve here as well.
“Having access to an enhanced content library of new, exciting and surprising stories will enable us all, collectively, to shout even louder about what makes our region so special.”
