HR tech firm secures £2.6m investment for domestic and international expansion
A London-based tech firm has secured £2.6m in Series A funding to boost its plans for international growth.
HR tech scaleup Clear Review has secured the investment in a funding round led by AlbionVC with participation from Mercia.
Launched in 2016, the Clear Review employee performance development platform offers users access to frequent feedback and continuous employee-manager conversations.
As part of its expansion plans, the company has plans to increase headcount throughout 2019, and has recently moved into a larger office space in Farringdon to accommodate its growing team.
Emil Gigov, partner at AlbionVC, commented: “Clear Review’s flexible software solution and thought leadership in continuous performance management are delivering on employees’ rising expectations of continuous feedback and agile goals.
“Stuart and the talented team at Clear Review have an exciting opportunity to continue supporting businesses in transforming their performance management approach. We’re excited to support Clear Review in their next stage of growth.”
The firm plans to use the recent funding to strengthen its presence in the US, with a view to scaling up its operation later this year.
Chief revenue officer Daniel Anticich commented: “The same clarity of focus within the product and unrivalled simplicity of user experience has allowed us to consistently win in the US against competitors.
“We’re excited to get closer to this market and continue to build momentum.”
