Planning granted for 204 homes in Coalpit Heath
Homebuyers in South Gloucestershire will soon have an exciting new selection of homes to choose from in the village of Coalpit Heath - thanks to Barratt Homes.
Planning has been granted for the new Blackberry Park development - 204 homes to be built within large areas of public open space. And the five star housebuilder is offering something for everyone at the new site, with a range of different home designs planned.
“We are thrilled to have been given permission to construct a community in this popular village,” said sales director, Andrea Pilgrim. “Our aim is to provide stylish and sustainable housing for a wide range of buyers with varied lifestyles. And the designs are very much in keeping with this picturesque area.
“Our plans also include the introduction of allotments and informal community orchards - promoting healthy lifestyles and local food production.”
The layout of Blackberry Park will provide a distinct ‘sense of place’ - with a mix of modern home designs in a traditional setting - within a landscape of hedgerows and green street scenes.
“We are very much aware of the need to keep the local identity within this new community, added Andrea. “It has been a labour of love for our designers, and we can’t wait to introduce the new homes to potential buyers wishing to move to this beautiful area.”
Coalpit Heath is a small village in South Gloucestershire, close to Yate and Frampton Cotterell.
