IT solutions firm launches North East tech hub
An IT solutions firm has opened new North East base from which it plans to propel further growth.
Pulsant, which is based in Berkshire, saw the official opening its new Gateshead tech hub in Team Valley by HRH The Duke Of York yesterday (July 16).
The hub, which joins the company’s existing regional centres for excellence in Edinburgh and the south of England, accommodates over 100 staff and will be the base from which the company expands its data centre and cloud services proposition and creates further jobs.
Marion Stewart, chief operating officer at Pulsant, commented: “The opening of this new office strengthens our presence in the North East and is a further commitment to the region in terms of future job creation and investment in the local economy.”
“By bringing our service, support and operations teams together in one site, we’re enhancing our offering to our customers by consolidating our skills and expertise in one place, supported by a unifying culture, toolsets and facilities.
James Rambotham CBE, chief executive, North East England Chamber of Commerce, said: “Pulsant is a very important player in our region’s IT community, creating highly skilled jobs and putting us at the forefront of the sector in the whole country.
“We fully support this new centre and wish it every success.”
