Growing IT automation specialist set to see turnover rise by £800k
A York-based IT automation specialist is set to continue its ongoing growth with an expected turnover increase of £800k.
PowerON, which was founded in 2013 by Philip Mercer and Steve Beaumont, anticipates that its turnover will increase to around £3m in its current financial year ending in September.
The firm, which has offices in York and North Lincolnshire, has created 14 new jobs in the last six months.
Specialising in simplifying IT operations, PowerON plans to expand further as it works on large scale transformational projects for the likes of Chiltern District Council and The Co-operative.
Philip Mercer, from PowerON, commented: “In the last six months alone, we’ve appointed sales heads in York and London, five delivery heads working nationally, a head of support and a new financial controller.
“We’ve also recruited nine apprentices, which gives us the opportunity to shape and train the IT industry’s future talent.
“Our strategy has always been about reinvesting our profits into the business and the experience, ability and overall calibre of people that we have in our team has significantly expanded our capabilities and could see us push turnover towards the £4m mark next year.”
