UK Research and Innovation is providing two sets of funding as part of the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund’s Transforming Construction Challenge.
Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, plans to invest up to £10m into businesses undertaking collaborative research and development projects.
In addition, a £26m funding pot is available for practical demonstrator projects in modern methods of construction.
UK registered business of any size are eligible to apply, as are research and technology organisations.
A statement from UK Research and Innovation explained: “Projects should go beyond the state-of-the-art in improving productivity, quality and performance of the UK construction sector.”
