New Head of Dispute Resolution joins AFG LAW
In a move set to strengthen AFG LAW’s ambitious Dispute Resolution department, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Aaron Marshall, one of the region’s leading dispute resolution solicitors as Head of Dispute Resolution.
Aaron read Geography at the University of Edinburgh before attending Nottingham Law School and obtaining his law degree. He qualified with a large commercial firm with offices in Derby and Nottingham and subsequently relocated to Manchester. Aaron specialises in professional negligence, director and shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, injunctions, boundary disputes, insolvency and bankruptcy, property disputes and debt recovery. Aaron’s considerable skills and knowledge will enhance the incumbent team and more importantly, under his guidance, will allow the department to become a key player in the commercial dispute resolution arena.
‘Aaron brings a tremendous amount of specialist experience to our Dispute Resolution department,’ commented Managing Director Greg French. ‘His addition to the AFG LAW team further consolidates our commitment to deliver the best dispute resolution service to our clients, ultimately becoming the law firm of choice in the North West.’
‘We’re very excited about Aaron joining us,’ adds Anita Boardman, Managing Director. ‘Aaron’s appointment will allow us to offer an unrivalled commercial dispute resolution service to clients. In addition to developing the firm’s professional negligence, shareholder and director disputes, contractual disputes and debt recovery services, Aaron will be working closely with our specialist property team on boundary and property dispute matters.“
“It is rare for such an opportunity to arise,” says Aaron “to lead the expansion of an already successful department within a dynamic law firm that is actively looking to develop into new areas - and especially grow its commercial offering. I am excited to be at the forefront of that expansion and work with and grow our existing dispute resolution team. I am looking forward to getting out there and meeting with local businesses in addition to building upon existing relationships and connections.”
AFG LAW now have two offices in Bolton and one in Bury with six Directors and 55 staff. They help clients with a variety of legal needs including house sales and purchases, accident claims, wills and probate, care proceedings, criminal law, employment law, family law and more. They are LEXCEL accredited by the Law Society which means they have achieved the required standard of excellence in client care, case management and risk management - and they are required to continue to work hard to maintain their accreditation. They are also part of the coveted Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme.
