Openshaw opticians wins Centre of Excellence accreditation
A LOCAL opticians in Openshaw has won a Centre of Excellence award for its retail and back office standards.
The assessment, which rewards brilliance in Specsavers stores across the country, took place on Wednesday 10th of July.
The store was judged on its retail standards, appearance of the sales floor, strength of merchandising and professionalism among the team.
The award follows a period of unprecedented growth for the store, which opened in 2016. To meet customer demand, the store recently expanded the number of sight testing rooms from two to three.
Rachel Harrison, retail director of Specsavers Openshaw, says: ‘We constantly strive to achieve excellence in all areas of the business, and this award is testament to our team’s knowledge and passion for eye health.
‘To have been recognised as a Centre of Excellence within three years of opening our store is a fantastic achievement, and the whole team are so proud!’
