Yorkshire tech group answers global call

A Leeds based telephony, internet and mobile firm has this week moved into its 24th overseas market.

Headquartered in the UK, the SR Group operates through an international network across nine countries. The design and commissioning of the new telephone system from The Technology Group has been delivered in stages across all global offices, and in total, The Technology Group will provide over 300 telephone handsets across 14 offices in nine countries.

The first three project phases included the system rollout to SR Group offices across the UK, Europe, Asia and the USA. Phase four is currently underway, covering offices in Australia and Singapore. A fifth and final phase is planned for 2020 in the Middle East.

TTG Sales Director Nick Deacon-Elliot said: “One of the key drivers for this project was to standardise the telephony strategy across the SR Group. The other was to provide a system capable of supporting future business growth.

“Given the speed of change and growth within the business, the new platform had to support the company in areas such as agile working and global expansion into new countries and markets.

“The new, private hosted telephone system provides the group high quality audio, video conferencing, call recording and an app for remote workers, as well as access to a range of time-saving technologies. It has already helped facilitate communication within the business, and has given the group a solid, scalable platform that can be more efficient supporting future expansion plans.”

The partnership between The Technology Group and the SR Group has been nominated in the Best Enterprise UC Solution category at the Comms National Awards.
