Newcastle recruitment firm to create up to 90 jobs with latest US office
A Newcastle-based recruitment company is set to create up to 90 jobs with the opening of its ninth office in the United States.
Frank Recruitment Group is set to open its latest US base next month in Charlotte in North Carolina.
Established on Westgate Road in Newcastle in 2006, the firm has gone on to expand internationally, with 19 offices around the world.
The news comes less than three months after the firm launched its California office on the border of Irvine and Costa Mesa.
It is expected that the new Charlotte headquarters will substantiate the company’s presence down the eastern side of the US, while catering to Charlotte’s expanding IT community.
James-Lloyd Townshend, chairman and CEO of Frank Recruitment Group, commented: “This is a long-term commitment to the area.
“We’ve invested over $1m on infrastructure to be here, and we plan to recruit workers from the local talent pool, offering highly motivated individuals the chance of a fantastic career in sales with incredible opportunities in front of them.”
Frank Recruitment Group president, Zoe Morris, added: “We’re delighted to be here. Charlotte is one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States and has quickly become a key technology hub, attracting some of the area’s best talent in what is an incredibly vibrant place to live.”
The firm’s vice president Paden Simmons, who will be leading the office, added: “We’ve already worked with over 3,000 clients in North Carolina without having a permanent base here.
“We’re excited to be able to engage with existing and future customers even further.”
