Workspace goes for growth with new Midlands hire

FIT-out contractor Workspace Design & Build (D&B) has hired Project Manager Daniel Davis to join the Midlands operation following a raft of new business wins in the area.

With 23 years’ experience Daniel will be working on generating and retaining new customers across the Midlands, looking to build upon the current success of the team across the region

Daniel, who has a wealth of experience in the field said: “I am delighted to join the Workspace team and am looking forward to adding value in the Midlands working alongside my brother Russell.

“The group has seen incredible growth over the past year with projects spanning across the country and I am really looking forward to getting involved with such a well-established business.”

Managing Director of Workspace Design & Build Russell Davis said: “Over the past few years, Workspace has not only seen incredible financial and organisational growth, but the team has continued to expand in all areas of the business.

“This rapid growth has massively increased our business capability and allowed us to take on more projects concurrently, as well as offer new services to our client base.

“Launching our Midlands office earlier this year was a strategic decision and it is brilliant to see such early success.

“This is an incredibly exciting time for everyone here at Workspace Design & Build and we are gearing up for further growth throughout the rest of the year. Last year was a record and a senior hire at our new Midlands office shows our commitment to continuing to grow the Workspace brand following a raft of new business wins.”

This strategic hire follows a number of new clients wins for the group across the country with over £3M worth of contracts won since launching its second office in the Midlands earlier this year.

Shaun Smith, heading up the Midlands office of Workspace said: “Since launching the office a few months’ back the team has really hit the ground running and secured some amazing business opportunities. We are working on some exciting projects and it’s brilliant to introduce some new sectors to the group.

“Daniel brings so much experience and is a well-known name across the industry and in the region previously working with CPS Interiors, so his appointment is really exciting.”

Workspace Design & Build works with clients such as, Schroders Real Estate, Loughborough University, Bruntwood and Investream. Their projects span both the residential and commercial sector across the UK.
