Construction work begins on unique 'boot-ique' hotel refurbishment in seaside town
Work has started on a unique bike and boot hotel overlooking Scarborough’s waterfront.
Infiniti Roofing & Construction has started work on the full refurbishment of the Bike & Boot - a new hotel concept which will see the former 50-bedroom The Mount Hotel totally overhauled and revitalised into an exceptional 65-bedroom ‘home from home’.
Marcus Rowe, director of Infiniti Roofing & Construction, said: “This is an incredibly exciting project for us, and is an indication of the kind of high quality construction work that Infiniti Roofing & Construction aims to be involved with.
“There are already plenty of hotels in Scarborough and North Yorkshire, but nothing at all like this - it will be truly spectacular.”
The refurbishment includes en-suite bathrooms and new carpets and decoration in all 65 rooms, as well as the creation of a new in-house hotel cinema, e-bike charging stations, dog and boot wash, and refurbished bar, restaurant and kitchen areas.
This latest success for the Infiniti Scaffolding Group comes in the wake of the opening of a new 10,000 sq ft HQ in Scarborough and a new 4,000 sq ft depot in Leeds.
