London green belt site acquired by housebuilder for 400-home development
A property consultancy has sold a 1.4-acre green belt strategic land parcel in London to a national homebuilder
Carter Jonas has sold the land in Hillingdon on behalf of a private owner to Inland Homes for an undisclosed amount.
Adjacent to Hillingdon Gateway, the land is allocated for a residential-led mixed-use scheme and currently has capacity for 400 homes.
Lester Wagman, consultant at Carter Jonas, commented: “The sale will enable our client to benefit from the future development potential of Hillingdon Gateway.
“It is encouraging to see these development opportunities coming to market providing potential for an increase in jobs and homes – ultimately benefiting the local economy.”
Des Wicks, senior land manager for Inland Homes, added: “The acquisition is an excellent opportunity to add to our existing landholding within the area and underpins our commitment to delivering new homes in sustainable locations.”
