Jet Aire secures nationwide planned maintenance contract
Leeds-based drainage and civil engineering company, Jet Aire Services, has won a major contract to service a nationwide network of retail distribution centres on behalf of Marks & Spencer.
The company has commenced a two-month programme requiring surface water and foul water drainage maintenance at 11 sites across Yorkshire, Staffordshire, Kent, Essex, Derbyshire, Hertfordshire, North Lanarkshire and Wiltshire. The work has been designed and planned to minimise the distribution centres’ operational downtime.
Jet Aire Managing Director, Charlie Kirk, said:
“In recent years the retail sector has been a huge growth market for Jet Aire. We have worked on behalf of many of UK’s leading retail brands, via first tier and second tier contracts in facilities management and preventative maintenance for stores and distribution centres nationwide.
“Planned maintenance has become a rapidly expanding part of Jet Aire’s business as organisations are increasingly realising the value of carrying out this type of work in ensuring environmental compliance and preventing the need for costly remedial works which cause disruption and protracted downtime. We are delighted to secure this contract and develop business with another major name.”
With a Middlesbrough office in addition to its Aberford HQ, Jet Aire has been servicing the UK for over thirty years with a range of professional solutions to commercial, industrial and domestic clients. The company’s drainage services include CCTV surveys, high-pressure water jetting, drain cleansing and clearance, tankering and waste disposal, patching, lining, infiltration sealing, robotic cutting, root cutting and epoxy spray coating. Jet Aire is accredited and approved by many of the environmental and drainage service industry’s leading bodies and holds both ISO9001 and ISO14001, internationally recognised standards for quality management.
